After a full month of holiday parties, homemade cookie trays, and to-go food ordering in the midst of holiday shopping, we think we’ve had enough as the Christmas season comes to an end. Then comes the second grand finale, when we push our bodies twice their limit not a mere week later in celebration of the New Year. Alcoholic beverages, sweet and salty foods, with sleep deprivation added to the mix of bad health choices do not contribute to our New Year’s resolution to “be healthy and lose weight”.
The holidays give us the perfect excuse to indulge ourselves in all the things we normally stray from, but beginning January 2nd, things change. Our expanding waistline and tired eyes are a good indication that “livin’ la vida loca” was never intended to be a lifelong commitment. What better time to make life changes than at the beginning of a brand new year?
A gym membership may give you the ambition to work out, and self-help books will afford you some guidance, but the best coalescence of these two ideas can be found within the practice of yoga. The yogic way of life is an ancient belief system combined with a health regimen, specific physical activity, and meditation aimed at enriching the lives of those who live it. Yoga has survived the test of time and travel, and continues to be a growing part of today’s society.
On this website, you will find recipes designed to restore the balance in your body by ridding it of all toxins. The holidays may have worn you out, but when the fatigue does not subside, it is most probably because you have excessive amounts of substances in your body that don’t belong there. For this reason, we have also put together different fasting programs you can choose from, which will allow you to drop weight quickly so immediate changes in your body can take place. It took a full month for your health to decline, but thankfully it will not take as long to restore your body’s wellness.
Click on the video links to view an aerobic yoga set that will make you loose weight. Videos are designed for everybody to do at home. This video can be done from 11 minutes up to an hour. The videos are aimed to clean the system and heal your body.
You can also do the Yoga sets by following the asanas in the photos. All the asanas have a description. If you are beginner start with the shorter times, and increase with time. The positions are aimed to target the problem areas of the body, such as the belly, waist, buttocks, etc.
Many of us recognize the fact that we gain extra weight during this season, but added stress is often overlooked. Stress affects all aspects of the human body, and is a negative force that all yogis should attempt to omit from their lives.
Meditation is an effective stress-releasing tool, as are yogasanas.
The method of change is positive, and each step of the way you will make noticeable improvements. You are encouraged to work at your own pace, and practice yoga as often as you choose. If you are unable to attend classes because of work, schedule, traffic, distance, or some other reason this videos and sets are the perfect solution for you. I encourage you to practice yoga correctly by watching the demonstrative videos.
Namaste.
